As reported last quarter, the Kelly L spent most of the fourth quarter on the Tennessee-Tombigbee River. That work was completed for the year in early December, after which the dredge and attendant plant arrived in David Lake.
Once there, every vessel in the fleet, except the dredge itself, was drydocked for some sort of repair. The Mr Gus received hull repairs, new wheels, and general maintenance. The Tiger also had wheel/shaft work, along with some top side repairs. Both the crane barge and the supply barge were drydocked and patched. Repairs were completed just in time for the Christmas break.
Upon returning from the break, the dredge and fleet were taken to Biloxi where Captain Tony Perry and crew will perfom 6 weeks maintenance dredging for the Irvington office of the Mobile District.
